Radiate Arts have supported the National Summer Reading Challenge for three consecutive years by providing engaging, fun and educational workshops within libraries in Cheshire West, Cheshire East, Wirral and Flintshire.

In 2018 our digital animation workshops and comic book workshops explored the theme of Mischief Makers with The Beano and in 2019 we brought STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art and Maths) into the libraries by building rockets and making them fly!

Attending these workshops, the children learnt new and exciting skills, developed new, fun ways of problem solving and made friends. The workshops connected children with their local community, providing a launch pad to fire their imagination into a positive future. Our support for the summer of 2020 is a vital resource for families and children who have been isolating for over 3 months - coming together with joint projects and online workshops, putting the FUN into our everyday lives.
LIBRARIES
FRACTIVITY
With the help of Arts Council England, we celebrated Libraries Week in October by providing free 'Fractivity' workshops for all members of local communities in Cheshire, creating Fractal Art using digital and traditional methods...
"I am fractalised! Thought provoking, fascinating workshop. Thank you... Infinity and beyond!"

BRING ART TO YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY
Before the pandemic, we helped to make Frodsham Library's Fun Palace, a fun place to create with Kinetic Art, Origami and Matisse's 'Painting with Scissors'.
Please do get in touch if you would like Radiate Arts to help you celebrate the creativity within your local community in the future. All our staff have current enhanced DBS checks, child safeguarding certificates, and there will always be a qualified first aider on site.
