About the event
True Colours Sewing: Photo Embroidery
Join Radiate Arts’ True Colours Sewing Group at 30 St Werburgh Street for a creative session of photo embroidery!
Inspired by the photographs on display as part of the Un-Shuttered exhibition, we’ll be exploring how thread can be used to transform and embellish photographs. Choose a photograph of Chester and add your own creative elements - you could add words, highlight details, draw new shapes, or completely reimagine the image using colour and thread.
All materials are provided, and you’re welcome to bring your own photograph to work with or choose from a selection of photographs of Chester provided at the session.
The workshop is open to everyone, whether you’re new to sewing or have lots of experience.
Booking is essential.
