Managing Director Pronouns: She/Her
Favourite colour
ORANGE, the orangier the better!
Favourite place to relax
OUTDOORS, either surrounded by mossy trees in the woods, or by water – a lake, river, ocean, stream, puddle.
Favourite book
WHY BE HAPPY WHEN YOU COULD BE NORMAL, by Jeanette Winterson. I love all of her books, but this autobiography left a lasting impression on me. It’s written so plainly yet a very beautiful read.
Favourite artist
I will say MARK ROTHKO because of the Seagram Murals, not the actual person. I first saw the paintings at Tate Liverpool in 1988. They utterly stopped me in my tracks and I came back day after day to try to re-live that spiritual moment when I first saw them (not sure I ever did…)
Favourite hobby
I am a hobby-holic, long-time favourites are painting, knitting, and walking in the woods.
Favourite quote
“Relax into groundlessness. Give up hope of getting solid ground under your feet."
Pema Chödrön, When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times
My photograph is of me at Wolverhampton University sitting by a lake in 1988/89.
