April 30 – Clay Play
After out short break, I am hosting another 2-part session for the group. This time we will be working with clay, essentially exploring the material and creating forms or figures. Connecting with the heavy, grounding material you will be welcome to make an object or a figure that brings you balance, that helps to ground you, something you may be able to take away as a keepsake. The first week we will be working with the wet clay. Please be aware the material is rather messy, although I can offer gloves if you would not like to get messy with your hands. After the artmaking, you will have time at the end to share how it felt to work with clay and what you made. All materials will be provided.
