About the event
Discover the craft of bookbinding in this welcoming, hands-on creative workshop designed especially for beginners. You’ll be guided through the fundamentals of traditional bookbinding, learning how different tools and materials come together to form a beautiful, handmade book.
Throughout the session, our friendly facilitators will support you step by step as you design and bind your own book from scratch. You’ll experiment with papers, create a personalised cover, and learn the Coptic stitch — a decorative binding technique that allows your book to open flat, perfect for sketching, writing or journalling.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a finished, hand-bound book to take home, along with the skills and confidence to continue bookbinding on your own.
