About the event
Join us at Radiate Arts for a welcoming LGBTQ+ Beginner Weaving Workshop on Monday 7th July, 1pm–3pm.
This session offers a calm, supportive space to explore weaving as a creative and expressive practice, using colour, texture, and material play.
We will begin with a simple introduction to basic weaving techniques before moving into hands-on making. Participants will work with a range of fabrics, yarns, and recycled materials, with plenty of time to experiment and develop their own approach. No previous experience is needed, and you do not need to consider yourself “artistic” to take part.
The workshop is open to LGBTQ+ participants, if you would like to bring along a friend for support please book 2 spaces.
