Join us for a workshop this summer

Radiate Arts

From stone carving to weaving, we've got a range of creative workshops to keep you busy this summer...

Take your time to relax, as you unwind looking over the view of the Clywedog Reservoir. Our Creative Hub in mid-Wales is the perfect spot to absorb the nature around you, before taking part in a relaxing art workshop. We are a not-for-profit organisation who place people at the centre of everything we do.

Weaving Workshops with Irene Evison

We are a small, friendly team who are made up of local artists and office staff. We have two bases - one in Chester, and one at our hub in mid-Wales.

At Radiate Arts, we welcome all abilities. Whether you're an expert or a beginner, our artists will support you and answer any questions you may have.

The community is at the heart of everything we do, and we believe that art has a huge impact on mental and physical wellbeing. As well as our social prescribing workshops, we offer a range of bookable classes which are open to the public.

Stone Carving with Glenn Morris

Our course leaders provide all of the tools and equipment you'll need to get going, as well as sharing their top tips on how to get the best results! For most of our workshops, you can take home your piece of artwork on the day.

The space at our Creative Hub allows us to work outside if the weather is dry, or inside (socially distanced) if it's a bit cooler.

Macrame with Alice Thomas

If you're not based near mid-Wales, but would like to take part, please let us know and we can arrange an online group if there is enough demand.

Throughout lockdown, we ran a series of social prescribing workshops, including painting with Emily Meredith, creative writing with Emma Beynon and painting and drawing with illustrator, Rachael Shone.

The view from our Creative Hub in mid-Wales

Thank you to the team at Caffi Clywedog, who provide delicious refreshments on the day*.

The views from the balcony are always breath-taking, not matter the weather!
