Back in November 2021, we were able to host our in-person social prescribing workshops in West Cheshire, for the first time since the pandemic began.
Our social prescribing workshops are available to the community to help improve mental wellbeing, and often run alongside support services from outside organisations.
At Radiate Arts, we believe that creativity and mental wellbeing go hand in hand, and these workshops were no exception.
Led by a professional artist, these sessions provided participants with a safe, positive space to explore their creativity, connect with others and gain clarity through the creative activities.
We provided a different activity for each session, exploring different materials and processes so that participants can find new ways to express themselves.
Activities included canvas painting, lantern making, DIY festive wreaths and decor, positive wall art, and Christmas card making.
Our workshops help us to make art, creativity and wellness accessible to the community and provide a dependable space to engage in activities and explore different forms of expression, aiding in the overall improvement of mental wellbeing.
